Farm Harvest Info for the week of August 10, 2015
The farm is rebounding from a heavy week of harvesting. Thanks to all of the picklin’ enthusiasts who came out this weekend to harvest our cuke fields. We think by this coming weekend, our cucumbers will be ready for picking again. (Thanks mother nature!) Besides u-pick cukes, we also have lots of sungold cherries ($2.00/1/2 pint), paste and slicing tomatoes ($3.00/lb), basil and dill ($3/bag), green beans ($3/lb), beets and carrots ($2.50/lb), summer squash ($2.50/lb), turnips ($2.00/lb), and hard neck garlic ($1/head) to pick.
Looking forward to tomatillos, sweet and hot peppers! Summer’s harvest is in full swing!
Farm stand hours: 10:30 am -6 pm Friday through Sunday.
